One More Blog to Contend With.

Is anyone excited about the unpublished John Steinbeck manuscript that was recently discovered? Apparently it has been hidden away for years. Mr. Steinbeck wrote it when he was incredibly depressed and drinking heavily; he almost died several times from his drinking. It was for this reason that he titled the manuscript "The Wrath of Grapes."

Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Bill told that one at last weeks concert. It was pretty well a dud. He then said that some deaths are on purpose.

I recommend seeing the movie "To End all Wars." It is somewhat bloody at times, and a bit of a slow start, but it is really worth it. It has amazing parallels to Christ and what He did for us. A moving film. I'm sure most of you have heard of it.

i didnt think the joke was that bad....i just gave chip a green olive, he's going crazy trying to eat it. it keeps getting away from him and rolling away. very funny. i'm waiting for dale to come in here, i'm sure he'll want one too. chip picked it up in his mouth and carried it over to his dinner plate. i think he finished it and is looking for more. better stop at just one though. i remember kitty always liked them and these guys do to. prayer meeting was good, kind of a small group again, but it was very good. chip just came up here looking for more olives, he smelled my breath to see if i have had one or two ..... olives. meowing meowing for olives. too cute, purr purrrr!! see you later, ME

Funny stuff...

I've heard of the movie. The guy who made it is Brian Godowa and he's a reformed, presup. christian. i read his book hollywood worldviews a few weeks ago. i'd like to see the film, i just haven't yet.

denver and i are starting to plan this summer's backpacking trip. it looks like it's going to be weminuche wilderness in colorado...where I went a few years ago. matt is interested, but doesn't know for sure. i'm going to invite some other people...charlie, etc. if you know anyone there you'd like to invite go ahead...but let me know first, we don't want too many people.

i'm looking into doing the Campus Preview Weekend at Covenant this March, it's the 31- April 2. i would really like to do it. i'd really like to do cross country in college but i guess i don't have to think about that yet.
mom and i just went for a walk. kinda chilly out there. :hack, hack!: sorry, still sick, as usual. i have to give a presentation next thursday on Copernicus. fun stuff. i don't have school on monday and i just remembered tomorrow is an assembly day (sweetheart) and i don't have to go to the assembly. i don't know if i want to though... no, not really. i was going to say something else about the campus preview weekend but i can't remember what... i'll post it whenever i remember it.
Peace out.
